Albion Rovers 0 v 3 Queen’s Park

Rovers caretaker coach Colin Mitchell spoke after today’s 0-3 home defeat to Queen’s Park.

“First-half, to be honest, we really should have scored, we had a good shape and got into some great areas.”

“The boys worked and battled hard, but we were punished for two mistakes at the back which has cost us in the end.”

“The third goal was just with us pushing up the park for a goal with Gary being sent over, I can accept that.”

“They took their┬áchances and we didn’t. That’s what I told the team at half-time, that was all that between the sides, but we couldn’t take any in the second-half. The chance we had from the corner when two of our guys go for it right in front of goal, we have to take that chance with ten to go.”
