Rovers will be without two players against Stranraer.
Paul Willis is sidelined with a groin injury and Andrew Barrowman has a calf problem, but Gary Fisher returns from suspension.
Player-manager Darren Young said: “We have drawn with the top two sides in our last two games and had Peterhead not been awarded an injury time penalty last weekend we could have taken four points from six.
“If we play as well again then we can beat Stranraer and give ourselves a six-point lead over them in the play-off hunt.”
Stranraer could announce themselves as play-off promotion chasers if they repeat last month’s win at Cliftonhill.
However, they are again without the suspended Ryan Thomson and injured David McGurn (toe), David Barron (ankle), Lee Mair (groin) and Craig Malcolm (knee).
Steven Bell is doubtful but Scott Rumsby returns from a ban.
Manager Brian Reid said: “The play-offs are our target, however we have gone about things quietly. If we win then we are level with our hosts and people will notice us.
“We defeated Forfar last weekend 1-0 in a game that was not a classic. However at this stage of the season every win is important.”
