THE OPPOSITION

Berwick currently sit in 9th and it is certainly a match that is the proverbial 6-pointer. Last time out they picked up a very impressive 4-2 win away to Elgin City. The team-lines on Saturday will probably see some familiar faces in Paul Willis and Gary Phillips playing for the home side.

The last match saw eight goals, unfortunately, five for the Borderers at The Reigart Stadium.

LAST TIME OUT

Kevin Harper watched from the stand as the ‘Rovers gave a spirited performance against the league’s surprise package, Edinburgh City.

The away side took the lead after Blair Henderson peeled away in the box, and placed a perfect header into the far corner.

Albion had been in control for the most part and kept pushing for the equaliser.

New signing Gerard Hernando Escuriola announced himself in spectacular fashion, just before half-time he picked up the ball and scored from beyond the centre circle. It was simply incredible.

The second-half was a cagey affair, City scored from a wicked deflection.

Wrong result, but certainly positives to take from the game and Kevin Harper made sure to comment on this post-match.
