FROM THE CAMP
Kevin Harper is wary of the threat the visitors pose but believes three points are achievable.
“Peterhead are a side full of guys that could easily be playing at a higher level in Scotland and they will be well up for the match after losing out the way they did last week against Clyde.”
“We have a renewed confidence going into the game, all of the new additions have really added to the group and we are unbeaten in two games now. We want to win the game and we know we can.”
New signings Jason Krones and Michael Hardie could be in the starting eleven for the match.
Peterhead will come with a point to prove after surrendering three points last week at Balmoor. With 85 minutes on the clock, Ryan Dow had the home side in front and in control until Clyde scored two in two minutes.
Sitting on 41 points and with the best goal difference in the division with +26, they are in second place and look like they will be up at the very top of the table at the end of the campaign. The aforementioned Dow and veteran forward Derek Lyle will always pose a threat.
Last time out we came away with a defeat, two early Lyle goals sealed three points, Barry Eley scored to make it a nervy ending.
