On Saturday, Rovers collected their first three points of the season, following a convincing win over Stenhousemuir.
It was a breathtaking start for Rovers, Ryan Wallace and Steven Boyd all coming close with a number of great opportunities, however, despite Rovers being well on top throughout the first period, both sides went in at the break level.
The inevitable goal occurred just after the hour, Boyd slotting home from close-range to give Rovers a deserved lead.
Just over five minutes later Rovers doubled their lead, Boyd once again causing havoc, before playing in Paul Willis, who converted into the back of the net.
It was raining goals and just under 15 minutes after Rovers opener, they were now three goals to the good, after a terrific solo effort from striker Ryan Wallace.
At 80 minutes, to cap off what had been an all-round terrific performance from the Rovers and Boyd, the on-loan attacking midfielder scored his second of the afternoon and Rovers fourth, tapping in at the back post.
